There are some situations where ‘longer’ is not necessarily ‘best’… like for pitching a jig underneath cover and in tight: or if you want accuracy casting with a Frog lure instead of bomb casting: or fishing around docks and boat sheds… There’s a stack of these situations!
The brief for this design was to have super-easy casting for a wide variety of lures, not too short in length, good reel height for versatility between techniques so the same outfit is equally at home switching between lure types and applications. And it has come up perfect!
Everything we wanted and in a rod that has absolutely ridiculous amounts of sensitivity which is further enhanced with the new G Clutch reel seat technology, and incredible balance.
